Billing

 

Kids Under Construction charges $55 for each 60 - minute tutoring session in our office that is scheduled for the month. Kids Under Construction charges $65 for each 60 - minute tutoring session in your home that is scheduled for the month. We will keep a credit card for you on file, and services are billed in advance on the first of the month for the entire month, and monthly bills may vary depending on the number of days that occur that month. For example, if you work with a tutor on Wednesdays in our office, your invoice for September might be for 5 sessions ($275) because there are 5 Wednesdays in September, and your invoice for October would be for 4 sessions ($220).

 

Reschedules

 

We understand that at times it is necessary to reschedule a scheduled tutoring appointment. If you provide notice of the reschedule before 9:00am on the day of the scheduled tutoring session, you can reschedule the tutoring session for a different day or time. The new session must take place by the end of the following month of the rescheduled tutoring session. If you provide notice of the reschedule after 9:00am on the day of the scheduled tutoring session, you will not be refunded, credited or allowed to reschedule the session. All reschedules can be scheduled directly with your tutor.

refunds and credits

 

Kids Under Construction does not offer refunds credited back to credit cards on file unless there was a billing error made by mistake (for example, you were charged for 5 sessions on Tuesdays but there are only 4 Tuesdays that month). All rescheduled sessions must be scheduled while concurrently enrolled and may not be used to receive a credit/discount on the following month's billing or in place of a future session. For example, if you provide notice before 9am on your session the last week of September, you may "double up" on sessions one week while you are enrolled in October, but you may not used that missed session to receive a credit on your October tuition, and you may not use that session in place of a regularly-scheduled October session.

 

Cancellations

 

We do not schedule session(s) for the week of fall/Thanksgiving break, the weeks of winter/Christmas break, and the week of spring/Easter break. You may choose to cancel your weekly session(s) for one additional week of your choosing during the school year. No other sessions may be cancelled, but if given appropriate notice, may all be rescheduled. Kids Under Construction requires a 30-day written notification for termination of services.
