Kids Under Construction provides individualized and group tutoring, as well as homeschool academic support, to students in and around Williamson County. All tutoring takes place in our academic studio in the Cool Springs area in Franklin. Our studio is located on the second floor of the TOA Building located at 215 Gothic Ct. in Franklin.

Through strengths assessments, learning style inventories, and diagnostic evaluations, we create mastery-based learning plans that build executive functioning, academic skills, and confidence—so students achieve meaningful, measurable outcomes.

Our work goes beyond homework help. We offer flexible support options designed to meet the needs of individual learners and families. All services combine growth mindset and executive functioning work as well as standards-based academics. Our methods aims to diversify learning styles, balance strengths, improve executive function, and work through productive struggles without frustration.

To get started, please complete the NEW STUDENT ENROLLMENT FORM by clicking the green banner above. Be sure to provide as much detail as possible regarding your student's after-school availability; this helps us schedule sessions quickly and efficiently. Feel free to share anything about your student with us - we love to learn about their background, family, interests, likes and dislikes, and hobbies.

Create your TeachWorks account online.

Once the form is submitted, you’ll receive an email to confirm your TeachWorks Family Portal Account and set your password. We use this software to schedule sessions, produce schedules, and bill for services. The credit card you put on file will be used for your initial payment, but you can change your card on file anytime. All scheduled sessions and detailed invoices can be found in your TeachWorks account.

We schedule your initial session - and weekly schedule - based on the availability you provide in your enrollment form. You will receive an email with the session details and your assigned tutor’s contact information.

We believe clear communication builds strong partnerships.

To help families feel informed and confident as they get started with Kids Under Construction, we’ve noted a few important policies below. A complete overview of our policies—including billing, reschedules, refunds and credits, and cancellations—is available on our Policies page.

To support consistent learning and meaningful progress, tutoring sessions are billed monthly in advance based on the number of scheduled sessions. We are happy to accommodate reschedules with advance notice. Refunds are not offered except in the case of billing errors, and sessions eligible for reschedule may not be used as credits for future services. Tutoring is paused during major school breaks, and a 30-day written notice is required to discontinue services.
